Margaret Hearn married John Cartwright May 3, 1887. Moved to Jackson Parish, La., 1883. Children: Walter, born Mar. 3, 1878; Irene, born Feb. 21, 1882; Arra, born 1884; Catherine, born July 7, 1886; Millie, born July 12, 1892; Francis, bar June 10, 1895.

Irene Cartwright married Greene Vaughn. Children: Wilder, born July 31, 1902: Actus, born Feb. 27, 1904; Twiler, born Dec. 8, 1905.

Arra Cartwright married Ira McCullough 1901. One child, Edna, born Oct. 12, 1902.

Edgar Alonzo, son of John Redwine and Josephine ( Langston) Hearn, born Dec. 22, 1856, in Alabama moved to Jackson Parish, La., Dec. 15, 1883. Married Arra A. Head June 5. 1884. Methodist Protestant belief and farmer.

Francis Barto Hearn moved to Denton Co., Tex., Dec. 21. 1902. Married Rhoda Emily Stogner Dec. 3, 1881. Member of Primitive Baptist church is a farmer. Children: Martha Margaree, born Oct. 10, 1882; William Byron, born Jan. 3, 1884; John Blackburn, born Sept. 17, 1885: Joseph Asburv, born Feb. 16, 1887; Nora Indiana, born May 7, 1888; Mark Andrew. born Mar. 16, 1890; Alonzo Sylvanus, born Feb. 6. 1891; Elizabeth Jane, born Sept. 2, 1893; James Martin, born Nov. 3, 1894; David Columbus, born Feb. 23, 1897; Robert Grady, born Jan. 26, 1899: Ida Loise, born Mar. 1, 1902; Alton Parker, born Sept. 6, 1903.

James L., son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Mayfield) Hearn, born in Georgia Jan. 15, 1831. He served four years in the Confederate army, being a member of Co. C.. 35th Ga Reg. He was once severely wounded in the head, but recovered and was able to do active service till he was surrendered at Appomattox.

Soon after the war, in 1867, he moved to Jackson Parish, La., where he died 1905. He was a member of the Methodist Protestant church. He was married four times; first to Martha Head, 1852; second, to Sarah Russell, 1868; third, to Ann Johnson, 1883; fourth, to Josephine Wooten, Sept., 1893.
