had been a member of Silas Baptist Church, Bourbon County, Ky., from childhood. Also third line from bottom of page 438, after the word deacon, read: The ordaining council being composed of Rev. John L. Smith, Rev. Elijah Neale and Deacons Spencer Holloway, John B. Duerson, and A. Jackson Young, all members of Mt. Pleasant Church, Jessamine County, Kentucky.

This picture was made from a small photo in a group, when I was close to fifty years of age. I prize it for the remarkable resemblance I am told it bears to Wm. Jennings Bryan, whom I believe to be the greatest statesman living, as well as the purest and cleanest man now in public life.

Page 441. April 26, 1907, a daughter named Margaret was born to Mr. and Mrs. Channing Hearne, and Jan. 31, 1911, Mrs. Alice Hearne died.

Page 446. After account of baptism of Mariah Ward, and America Hearne, "My cousin, John M. Wasson, who is eleven years older that I, told me that he witnessed this baptism. Mudlick, is a small stream, but they found a place where the water was about three feet deep, and Bishop Smith had them to kneel down and he baptized them face foremost, each one three times, putting their whole bodies entirely under the water."

Page 449. 1901 Richard K. Hearne, married Mrs.______, and in Jan. 1911, a son was born, named Donald Walter. They now live on their farm adjoining Lamar, Mo.

Page 477. Rev. Wm. C. Hearne, died Feb. 1908, age seventy-nine years. He surely was one of God's chosen ones.

Page 497. Fourth line from bottom, Alaphair Hearne, is a daughter of Nancy Rachel and Purnell Hearne. (See page 496.) Second line from bottom, Hasky Maddox, should be Hasky McElroy; bottom line, John should be John M, and he John M. Hearne, son of Milbra and Hasky McElroy Hearne, was born July 18, 1819, and married Mary Hicks. Their daughter, Roberta, married C. A. Hotchkiss, and lives in Dallas Texas.

McElroy Blacknall Hearne, son of John M. and Mary Hicks Hearne born Nov. 23, 1847, married Miss Anna White, Nov. 23, 1869. Children: Roy W., born Jan. 28, 1873, and Webbie W., born Feb. 12, 1877.

Roy W. Hearne, married Oct. 17, 1895, Miss Madge Williams,
