Shaw. September 23, 1874. He was born November 12, 1847, and died May 26, 1892. Children: James Ebenzer, born September 23, 1877; Jessie Lee, born February 1, 1880; Sallie, born July 25, 1882; Milbra Hearne, born May 8, 1887, and Robbie, born June 28, 1892.

James Ebenezer Shaw married Miss Bessie Lee Christian. June 26, 1904, and they have one child, Brooksye Elizabeth, born August 2, 1906.

Sallie Shaw, born 1882, married J. S. Halley, November 25, 1900. Children: Claude, born May 24, 1902, and Valda, born January 18, 1905.

Milbra Hearne Shaw married, July 23, 1911, Miss Stella Thompson.

Robbie Shaw married, December 19, 1909, B. C. Hudson. The Shaw family live at Tyler, Tex.

What follows are, I believe, descendants of Thomas and Nancy Wilson Hearne, page 467-8.

John Hearne was born in Pitt County, N. C., February 14, 1804, and died May 21, 1861. He married Miss Pennetta Ann Emeliza Robinson, January 28, 1833. She was born October 17, 1816, and died June 3, 1870. Children: Sylvester, born June 14, 1835, died January 6, 1861; Jackie Ann Eliza, born September 28, 1836; Orlando, born April 5, 1838; Mary Frances, born December 19, 1839; Reuben Marcellus, born June 12, 1842; Benjamin Howell, born February 28, 1845; John L. F., born October 2, 1849, and Wm. R. Augustus, born April 30, 1851. These last two were very devoted brothers and were not long separated in death. The elder died October 29, 1866, and the younger followed next day.

Jackie A. E. Hearne married, March 1857, Blaney Joyner, and they had one child, Joseph Blaney, who died July 25, 1894, age nineteen years. Mr. Blaney died in 1895 and his wife died August 13, 1901.

Orlando Hearne never married. He was a faithful member of the Methodist church and died December 30, 1884.

Mary Frances Hearne married Arthur Forbes and died July 4, 1874. She had one son, John Arthur.

Rueben Marcellus Hearne, entered the Confederate army when eighteen years old, and served a faithful soldier to the end
