Importance of finding and sharing primary documentation.
One purpose of Cragun Families is to share what is known and work together to document it. We're looking for any kind of documentation you may have. We're especially interested in photos, document images, references, gravestone photos, and anything else. Contact me using the email address on the home page, or using the suggestion form.
Book references. There are at least two well researched compilations on the Cragun lines:
- Heiner, Eva L. Patrick Cragun Descendants in America 1744-1969. (J. Grant Stevenson, 230 West 1230 North, Provo, UT 84601, 1969) 346pp.
- Tombaugh, Jean C. CRAGUN FAMILY ( Tombaugh House, 700 Pontiac Street, Rochester, IN 46975, 1990) 320pp.
If possible, it would be great to reference and find the original records that these works were built on.
